Ensuring Sustainability
Girl Scouts chapters do it. Goodwill does it. LifeCare Alliance does it, too. And so does Habitat for Humanity! To what do I refer, you ask? It’s about earned income ventures . . . those revenue-generating activities that support nonprofit organizations. Who doesn’t know about the annual Girl Scout cookie sale. The Goodwill retail stores have been around for a long time. LifeCare Alliance operates a revenue-generating catering business, and here at Habitat for Humanity, we have our ReStores!
